Hypnosis, or in this context, clinical hypnotherapy, is a powerful tool. It is a state of inner absorption, concentration and focused attention. When you connect with the immense power of your subconscious mind, you can activate automatic power that will increase your ability to deal with issues like trauma, fears, or phobias. It can help you stop smoking, lose weight, or overcome the fear of public speaking. Many people use self-hypnosis to increase their sports performance or eliminate the discomfort of chronic pain. Substance Abuse/Addiction/Alcoholism Interventions
( 1 items )
Interventions are useful and important when a family member has a problem with substance abuse or an addiction and is reluctant or unwilling to seek help. If that is the case, family members and other caring, supportive individuals may get together under the supervision of a trained interventionist, and "intervene" in the situation with a caring confrontation that will, in over 90% of instances, cause the reluctant family member to change their mind, realize the situation, and get into appropriate treatment.
