Below is a format that you can use with different situations when you feel your recovery is in jeopardy. You may use this plan as often as necessary.

 

Example

When I feel  angry   isolated  anxious

I will  breathe   stop  pray

I will identify the problem: My boss yelled at me  I haven't called someone today

What is real? I made a mistake. What is not real? I am a mistake.

I will call counselor, sponsor, friend

I can go to my home group: it is a safe place.
